Oak Creative is an official Industry Partner to Produced in Kent, which means we partner with businesses to grow their business and boost their brand. Read here about why and how we partner with Kent brands, plus why your brand identity is paramount in the current volatile economic market.
1. Why is Oak Creative keen to work with Pink in particular?
Oak Creative has been working with Kentish brands for over 30 years. As a business our roots have always been firmly in the food & drink sector as well as agriculture, because the two are core of our county. It therefore feels like a natural fit for Oak Creative to support Produced in Kent’s members as an Industry Partner.
Laura Bevan, Oak Creative’s studio director started her career at the award winning Ramblinns chain, the quirky pubs set the trend for local produce to be showcased in a gastro-pub cosy setting. She also worked with Spicers of Hythe producing gift hampers, which featured an abundance of Kentish produce. Her passion and tenacity for the Kent food & drink businesses has led Oak Creative to become a go-to creative partner. Laura says: ‘At Oak Creative we believe that great design delivers clear and powerful communications, which leads to better user experiences and greater results. Great design builds brands and businesses, which is what we want to help every Kent business do. Our experience working with Biddenden Vineyard, Fudge Kitchen, Karimix and Port Lympne Hotel mean we are well placed to be a long term creative partner to Produced in Kent.’
Produced in Kent is an exemplary business support organisation, which has championed the rise of the food and drinks sector since its inception. Our county is fortunate to have such a strong network and community like this.
2. Pink members are currently faced with many challenges: no physical events to meet customers and buyers, lost B2B trade, a second national lockdown, a potential hard Brexit – how important is brand identity in this volatile economic climate?
There are many challenges for businesses at present, however your brand identity should be one certainty throughout all the uncertainty! Your customers needs to have confidence in your business and trust in your product, and your brand can give that. Whether it’s in store or online, professionalism and consistency is key to win sales.
Through 2020, businesses have had to react fast and come up with new business processes such as deliveries, take-aways or going online. Now is the time to take a step back and evaluate your business roadmap and make sure your brand is strong.
Finally, collaborating with industry schemes such as Produced in Kent’s ‘Help Kent Buy Local’ is really helpful to elevate your brand. The movement champions buying local to help the Kent economy, now and beyond the pandemic. Oak Creative are proud to have designed the ‘Help Kent Buy Local’ badge on behalf of Produced in Kent.
