Taste of Kent Awards – 5th March 2020
It’s the season for awards – and it’s lovely to watch some of our clients winning them!
Kingcott Dairy won twice at The Taste of Kent Awards 2020. Not only did their phenomenal soft blue cheese ‘Kingcott Blue’ win best in their category, but it also won the prestigious Product of the Year award. It was a pleasure to share a table with team Kingcott and celebrate their double success on the night.
It’s no mean feat winning an award like this. This particular blue cheese was the result of many iterations of recipe, ingredients and taste tests. Not to mention the rigorous audits and hygiene and welfare regulations the farming sector are familiar with. There’s a whole load of work which goes into the final product which we see!
At Oak Creative, it’s a joy to help businesses such as Kingcott bring their product to life. The all important logo which sits proudly on the product and the crucial label design which contains the all important regulatory requirements – is key to sales success. We’re honoured to be your creative partner when it comes to creating a brand for your produce!
Another winning client for Oak Creative was Biddenden Vineyard. Their Red Love juice won Juice of the Year for the second year running, also at The Taste of Kent awards. This red colour juice is uniquely produced using apples containing red flesh, grown only here in Kent.
Biddenden Vineyard are no stranger to awards. Their English Wines have received numerous awards and accolades, but this recognition never tires. For the second year running their Red Love Apple juice won best juice at the Taste of Kent awards. For Biddenden, success helps drive the business forward and organically grows more opportunities for the business. Oak Creative has been a creative partner to Biddenden for nearly 25 years.
Congratulations to everyone who was nominated and won awards on the night. It was a spectacular evening and we do not underestimate the very hard work which goes in to producing Kent’s finest produce. Special thanks to Produced in Kent and Kent Event Centre for organising this wonderful event.
